How to Get Rid of Fleas, Ticks and Other Unwanted Insects
Cedar oil is an essential oil derived from coniferous trees (trees that carry cones and leaves of needles) of the families of pines or cypresses. Cedar oil has many uses, including medical and industrial uses, but it is also commonly used in perfumes, aromatherapy and in pest control. Turpentine is derived from the resins of living coniferous trees.
Cedar oil has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties and is considered safe enough by the FDA to be used as a food preservative. Ancient Egyptians even used it in their embalming practices because they kept insects away.
Cedar oil controls different insects in different ways. It is known that it is toxic to fleas, ticks and mosquitoes specifically, which are common pests that we would love to get rid of. However, many of the annoying insects beyond ticks are rejected by the natural effluvium of cedar oil. Another advantage is the cedar oil is completely non-toxic to humans and pets.
How to use cedar oil spray as a natural tick repellent?
The easiest way to eliminate these insects is to spray each week, this cedar oil, in every corner of your home, yard or garden. This will completely eliminate all ticks, fleas, mosquitoes, and other unwanted insects.

1. How to make a flea trap

If you want to get rid of fleas, this seems like the easiest way to catch and kill monstrous fleas, yeah a flea trap! If you give your dog a bath with a dishwashing liquid, you will be able to kill fleas on your body as well. However, a flea trap will allow you to clean your entire flea house.
Ingredients:
-Dishwasher Liquid
-Dinner plates or bowls
-Tea candles
-Hot water
Do this :
1.At night, place a plate or bowl in each of your rooms, preferably in the center of the room. Place it on the floor.
2.Now fill them with hot water. If you are using a bowl, fill it in part and if you use a bowl, fill it to the brim.
3.Now add dishwasher liquid to this water. Use a good amount.
4.Place a tea candle in the center of each dish. If you use the bowl, you may not be able to place the candle inside it. You can place the candle near the container.
5.Now light the candles.
6.Fleas are attracted to the light. When they jump into the light, they will get stuck in the high viscosity of the liquid with soap. In this way, the fleas will be trapped and will die.
7.If your house is very infected with fleas, you can continue to do this for 3-4 nights.
Warning : As you are using fire at night when applying this home remedy to catch the fleas, you should be extra cautious. You may like to be awake until all the candles are extinguished. Also, do not let your pets and children roam freely when you have set a trap with soapy water and lit candles in the center of each room.

2. Flea Spray to Get Rid of Fleas From Your Home

If you have been thinking of a flea bomb loaded with chemicals to remove fleas from your home, you should reconsider once and give this herb herbal spray an opportunity instead. This homemade flea spray uses ingredients such as lemon juice and witch hazel. They are totally safe for your pets and children. Here is the recipe for this herbal flea spray.
Ingredients:
-Vinegar: 1 gallon (a little less than 4 liters)
-Water: ½ gallon (a little less than 2 liters)
-Lemon Juice: 16 oz. (A little less than 500 ml)
-Witch hazel: 8 oz. (A little less than 250 ml)
-Fresh vacuum bag 1
-A Spray Scrubber
Do this:
1.You need to vacuum and then spray with the flea sprayer.
2.Pick up anything that can not be vacuumed and wash it in the hottest setting of the washer. This even kills flea larvae and eggs.
3.Now empty properly. Vacuum every corner, upholstery as well as collars with the help of various vacuum accessories.
4.Use the fresh vacuum bag. This ensures an unrestricted airflow. Waste collected from the above aspiration can hinder smooth air flow.
5.Now mix vinegar, water, lemon juice and witch hazel.

3. Get rid of fleas while your pet sleeps

Next to where your dog or cat sleeps, place some Christmas lights, or a lamp without a screen, and under it a bowl of soapy water.
The fleas will be attracted to the heat of light and jump towards it, most of the time landing directly in the bowl of soap and water. Repeat this treatment every night for a week, or until the fleas are gone.
